https://t.me/intelslava/56807The European economy is facing a “triple shock,” writes The Economist.
The first was the energy crisis provoked by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
A wave of cheap imports from China could now follow, which, while benefiting consumers, could harm producers and increase social and industrial strife.
And in a year, Donald Trump may return to the White House and impose huge tariffs on European exports.
Since the end of 2022, the EU and British economies have not grown at all, although they really need it to finance increased defense spending.
Long-standing European obstacles to growth also remain - a rapidly aging population, excessive regulatory oversight and insufficient market integration.
The good news is that the energy shock has passed the point of "maximum pain" and gas prices have dropped significantly.
But other problems are just beginning. China's economic growth has slowed and Beijing wants to compensate by further increasing its production and exports abroad.
China is now focusing on green products, especially electric vehicles, which is making European manufacturers nervous.
And after November, Trump may return, who during his first presidency imposed tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum, including from Europe, which led to retaliatory measures from the EU. Then Biden came and an uneasy agreement was concluded.
But Trump is now threatening to impose 10 percent tariffs on all imports, which could lead to another round of the US-EU trade war.

The Russian Foreign Ministry once again confirmed that it does not intend to take part in any conferences in Switzerland related to Ukraine. Previously, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that it no longer considers Switzerland a country that can act as a mediator in negotiations due to the loss of Switzerland’s neutral status.
A completely logical and justified decision - the only real negotiations on the fate of Ukraine can only be with the United States; negotiations with puppets are as meaningless as the Minsk agreements. Moreover, there is no point in discussing anything with the cocaine Fuhrer.
There are also reports that there was an arrival at the turbine room of the Kanevskaya HPP.
The consequences are unclear...
That is, it has already arrived twice to almost all major hydroelectric power stations in Ukraine. All that remains is the Kiev hydroelectric power station and the Kiev pumped storage power plant right next to it. Tashlyk PSPP. And the second big prize of Ukrainian hydropower is the Dniester PSPP with a capacity of 972 MW.
Apparently, the energy sector in Ukraine cannot cope with the load. In more and more new areas, emergency operation of the power system is being introduced.
Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk were joined by two more - Kirovograd and Zaporozhye.
Poland is suspending the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, the law was signed by President Duda.

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/106293Avdeevsky direction: advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in the fields southwest of Tonenkoye
Situation as of 17:00, March 29, 2024.
Russian troops, following the liberation of Tonenkoye and the clearance of the surrounding area, have severed the “wedge” at the Vodyane-Tonenkoye line.
Footage released by the enemy on the Internet indicates that several forest belts to the northwest of Tonenky are now under control.
After consolidating the line of control, units of the Russian Armed Forces now have the opportunity to advance simultaneously towards Yasnobrodovka in the west and towards Pervomaisky in the south.
The latest reports show that the offensive is also progressing along the Tonkaya gully to the west, heading towards Umansky. With a coordinated attack from Orlovka, Russian troops will be able to cross the Durnaya River and establish a position along the C051801 road leading to Umanskoye.
However, these advancements come at a cost. The presence of numerous unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones operated by the enemy has hindered the Russian Armed Forces' progress. In response, a strike from an attack drone launched by Russian UAV operators destroyed one of the enemy’s field warehouses.
