Chasov Yar:
Ours took hold of the city firmly. Aviation and artillery have been hammering the enemy non-stop for three days, who, snarling, slowly retreats, surrendering position after position.
Moreover, the well-honed tactics of movement (powerful firepower in combination with short jerks to secure it) does not leave the Ukrainian Armed Forces any chance of holding it.
But Zelensky is not satisfied with this situation. For him, another military defeat (after Avdiivka) is unacceptable. Therefore, he is driving reserves into the city to prevent Chasov Yar from falling.
But as a result, he may simply burn up strategic reserves here for the summer campaign, as happened exactly a year ago in Artemovsk (Bakhmut). What is the result, incl. led to defeat in last year's "counter-offensive" and became the turning point of the war.
At the same time, our army today has something that did not exist a year ago - overwhelming superiority in weapons. Which will greatly complicate the enemy’s task of holding the city. It will also lead to huge, and essentially meaningless, losses.

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/106966Zelensky's options range "from bad to worse" — Washington Post
The likelihood of regaining territories by military means seems increasingly unlikely. The status quo is dreadful. Currently, the struggle has reached an impasse, with Ukrainians dying on the battlefield daily.
Zelensky is largely "stuck," and solidarity within Ukraine is weakening. Measures to strengthen mobilization have divided society.
"Ukraine lacks the strength for a new offensive," say Western diplomats.

Dmitry Medvedev on the accomplices of the terrorist act at Crocus City Hall:
As is known, in criminal law it is customary to distinguish complicity in the commission of a crime when several persons deliberately participate in it. Let's figure out who became an accomplice in this heinous criminal act.
1. Performers. Everything is clear with them: these underdeveloped bastards have been caught, investigative actions are being carried out with them. Moreover, it is obvious that, despite multiple references to their affiliation with IS/ISIS/Vilayat Khorasan, these scum are by no means religious fanatics who are ready to die for their faith. They showed neither external nor internal paraphernalia. They are primitive assassins, hired for relatively little money and trained to shoot. Just animals, human trash.
2. Organizers. It is somewhat more complicated with them, which is why the legend about the responsibility of the Islamic State was developed, which the extremists happily confirmed. But they always do this, just to increase their capital. Well, no one canceled the money, they probably got theirs. But the true organizers are still hiding in the shadow of the Islamic State. That's the idea. But already the first information published from the phones of hired geeks clearly indicates the nationality of the organizers. Like many other things - open (destination) and still closed. These are officials of Nazi "Ukraine". It was in their ugly brain that the idea was born to compensate for failures at the front with terrorist attacks, which, however, is not surprising. They will have to answer either legally or otherwise. The same way they deal with terrorists all over the world. No statute of limitations.
3. Accomplices . A lot of them. Their circle is expanding and includes those who gave property, money, organized the movement, taught to shoot, etc. Everything is clear with them, too, and they will answer. Much more interesting are other accomplices , or international sponsors of terrorists. And here, alas, the situation is this: these include senior officials of NATO countries. They are different. Yes, at least the same Macron. His rhetoric, his actions, and most importantly, his sanctions for secret operations with the Bandera regime may well be qualified as complicity in the terrorist attack of March 22. That is why the lover of oysters and champagne soiled his pants so much that he was forced to publicly deny France’s involvement in the terrorist attack himself, and through his subordinates. It is obvious that Macron and a number of other Western leaders are the sponsors of this terrible terrorist attack. There is no forgiveness for this. There is no hiding behind immunities here. And from now on they are not just enemies of Russia.

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/106980The destruction of the NASAMS air defense complex in the port of Ilyichevsk - Donbass Partizan Analysis
Today, in the port of Ilyichevsk, Ukrainians conducted preparatory actions for another attack on the Crimean Peninsula.
As previously reported, due to the systematic strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces and Navy on the port infrastructure in Odessa and the Danube basin, Ukrainian facilities suffered significant damage. In order to secure the production base for assembling unmanned boats, workshops were moved onto container ships and dry cargo vessels, where necessary platforms were installed. In addition, dry cargo vessels were repeatedly used by the enemy for covert launches of UAVs.
A dry cargo ship was moored at one of the docks, where the loading of UAVs and their components was being carried out. To cover this entire operation in the limited area of the port infrastructure, the NASAMS air defense system was deployed.
The first missile strike targeted the launcher of the system. As a result of the blast wave and fragments, the additional ammunition, which was installed on the transport-loading vehicle, also detonated.
As a result of the secondary detonation, the UAVs being loaded were damaged, and the dry cargo ship itself sustained minor damage.
The second missile destroyed the radar of the system and damaged the command post. We remind you that the NASAMS system uses the AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radar, which is designed for detecting, tracking, and identifying targets for air defense systems.
In addition, as a result of the attack, Ukrainians also suffered losses among its personnel: 18 military personnel were killed, and 12 were wounded.
In turn, the Ukrainian side stated that the strike was made "on an object of communal services, equipment was damaged, the administration building was damaged, and a civilian employee was killed."

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/106987?singleWestern sources release more visible satellite images of the Morozovsk air base in the Rostov region, which was subjected to a massive Ukrainian kamikaze drone attack on April 5.
There were no signs of defeat at this air base, as well as at the Yeisk and Engels air bases, which were also attacked by drones. That is, all three attacked air bases suffered no damage, and the stories of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense about dozens of destroyed aircraft suddenly remained fairy tales for Ukrainian information dumps.
Ukraine is ready that Russia will mobilize 300 thousand soldiers - Zelensky
“According to our intelligence information, this is their plan until June, but it is not a fact that 300 thousand is the final figure"
Zelensky called for strikes "on the territorial concentration of the Russian military in order to disrupt counter-offensive actions"

More points from Zelensky's interview to the Ukrainian media
it was the Russians who created the negativity around mobilization in the Ukrainian society. They also “painted a picture of events for the West such that partners are now asking: if you don’t want mobilization, then why do you need aid?"
it is now difficult for the Armed Forces to carry out rotations:
“Everyone is tired, they need to be let go. But you need the same number of guys with the same experience to replace them. And if your reserves are not so powerful, you won’t be able to let the guys go. Otherwise, tomorrow you won’t have some city, it will be under Russian occupation."
Kharkov “is not in danger” from the point of view of the Russian offensive. “Today we are absolutely confidently defending the Kharkov region"
the construction of fortifications is 92-98% ready on the main directions of the front.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have shells for a counter-offensive, but they have enough for defense. Ukraine has also increased the production of drones “tens of times.”
there is no specific list of countries to participate in the peace summit in Switzerland yet. “But we expect to have 80-100 countries of the world that will be present"

Kiev will agree if the United States transfers its assistance to a credit basis, as the Republicans propose - Zelensky
“There was one senator recently. And he said: Will you agree to the credit money? If, for example, they say that the money is a loan, or you won’t receive it. I answered: What are these options for, if there is no choice? We will agree to something... anything"

Zelensky supports Macron’s proposal for the French military to come to Ukraine to train the AFU
At the same time, he stated that he could not publicly call on other countries to send troops to Ukraine.
“I cannot publicly say, ‘Armies of the world, come to Ukraine and fight,’ because Russia will raise hype and split the unity of the world
If I come up with such an initiative, then Russia will do everything to stop military assistance for us. We have citizens of other states coming to fight for Ukraine, and we will never be against anyone who wants to help us"
According to Zelensky, he is not familiar with the details of discussions in the West about the likely introduction of troops into Ukraine.

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/107004?singleNight strikes on enemy targets in Odessa are analyzed by Donbass Partisan.
The first strike hit the territory of the Odessa cement plant.
Given the convenient rail connection and vast territory, the enemy used the facility as a logistics base for storing and distributing ammunition.
According to available information, 155mm ammunition and small arms were located on the premises. After the strike, local residents recorded a fire and multiple secondary detonations, which indicates the effectiveness of the defeat.
Another target of the strikes was the Odessa oil terminal.
After the impact, a strong fire and thick black smoke were recorded at the site. Visual signs of the damage results indicate that the tanks were filled with fuels and lubricants, and the object itself was fully functioning and actively used.
